Pomegranate Guacamole recipe

Ingredients:

½ large onion, peeled and minced.
2 garlic cloves minced.
2 fresh serrano chiles seeded, minced.
2 tablespoons of fresh coriander leaves.
Juice from 1 lime.
½ teaspoon of salt.
2 large ripe avocados peeled, pitted.
1 tablespoon of pomegranate juice.
3 tablespoons of pomegranate arils.

Directions:

In a bowl, combine the onion, garlic, chiles and coriander leaves.

Add lime juice and salt; then set aside.

Place avocados in another bowl and mash using a fork, slowly adding the pomegranate juice.

Fold in the onion mixture, keeping the texture coarse.

Fold in the pomegranate arils.

Serve.
